In the late 40’s, Patti Clayton was the very first voice for the Chiquita Banana commercials.  She was a singer on the Club Fifteen radio show with Jerry Gray. Her husband was Ace Ochs, the TV Producer for the Arthur Godfrey show. He was also a lyricist that went by the name of Lee Kaydan. In the early 50’s, Johnny and Ace wrote many songs together and Ace and Patti were very close family friends.

These songs have just been restored from old acetate albums and are audible for the first time. What a voice she had!
